The £360 million “Sailing Yacht A,” one of the largest private sailing yachts in the world owned by Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko, was spotted sailing in the crystalline waters of Formentera again on Tuesday – this time by UFC star Conor McGregor.

Formentera is a tiny island off Ibiza, and a celebrity and billionaire hotspot. Its white sands and turquoise waters resemble the Caribbean.

McGregor has been living it up in Ibiza with family and friends after losing a fight to Floyd Mayweather just over a fortnight ago. He was enjoying life aboard boats and yachts himself when he spotted Sailing Yacht A.

His first post was captioned: “The 360 million dollar “sailing yacht A” pulls up out the back garden this morning. “Sailing yacht A” its called. That’s how you know the owner doesn’t need to give a bollox about anything. Sailing yacht A. Most expensive sailing yacht in the world. 360mill. Owned by a Russian billionaire. Google it. Crazy!”

First he admired it from afar in his Versace dressing gown, before deciding to get a closer look…

He even took out a jet ski to get a closer look of what he calls a “super boat.” He said, “It’s like something out of a bond film. Can’t believe this just pull up.”

His photos show the sheer size of the 142.8-metre vessel, which boasts 300 ft masts that are taller than Big Ben, and counts eight decks (connected by a series of lifts), a free-floating spiral staircase, huge swimming pool, and underwater observation pod among its stunning features.

Finally, he posted a photo of himself and Melnichenko’s Sailing Yacht A in the background, which has been liked almost 1 million times so far.

That was a mad scene. I only posted “race to the next yacht” two days ago and then this one pulls up right out my back garden. The biggest one of all. This is an eye opening level of opulence to witness first hand. To me, it is truly motivating. I’m starting to think I don’t have a wealth belly just yet. I’m more just rich fat now. I must keep eating. I wonder if my lunch is ready. Happy Tuesday

Foodie Ibiza? Superstar DJ Guy Gerber’s Insider Guide – The Daily Meal

It’s no secret that the gorgeous Balearic Island of Ibiza is the clubbing capital of the world all summer long. But when the mega clubs close sometime in October, it becomes something totally else. And with autumn temps in the 70s, stunning beaches and scenery, and year-round sunshine (not to mention far lower hotel rates), those not disposed towards pumpkin picking and foliage might easily consider it for a fall weekend getaway.

Superstar DJ RUMORS to the Knockdown Center in Queens. For dance heads, it’s an occasion not to be missed.

In the midst of his mad schedule, and as summer turns to autumn, we asked him to give us his expert guide to going foodie in Ibiza. And really, who wouldn’t love to settle down for a great meal after months of non-stop dancing?

Cala Bonita Wow this place is amazing – such a beautiful little beach location. I once DJ’d a party for a friend here, so it always brings back that memory. It’s quiet, secluded and a really nice spot to hideaway. Not to mention the Mediterranean food is just phenomenal.

Hostal La Torre This place is owned by the Mambo Brothers, who are very good friends of mine. I think it captures the essence of Ibiza for me, and it has an amazing view of the sunset. Perfect to have a drink and relax with creative tapas, fresh ensaladas and great ceviche.

Maison Le Vrai This place has a really interesting vibe, it’s sort of like a secret upscale rustic restaurant that makes really delicious, gourmet-level street foods. I’m also a big fan of the music they play here – it’s nice to listen to other styles on the island than just house and techno.

FIVE Brits were due to appear in court today after cops seized a massive drugs haul – including thousands of ecstasy pills – at a house in the Ibiza party resort of San Antonio.

Cocaine, speed and magic mushrooms as well as LSD and a large amount of cash was also discovered during the police raid on Thursday.

The Spanish Civil Guard used a sniffer dog called Malcolm to locate the drugs during the operation, the third major narcotics bust in a week on the Balearic Islands.

The men, aged 18 to 30, are suspected of supplying drugs to revellers outside nightclubs and bars hosting scheduled party events in San Antonio.

They are expected to be remanded in custody pending an ongoing criminal investigation following today’s hearings.

Several Brits appeared in court in Ibiza on Wednesday accused of dealing in San Antonio’s West End area following the seizure of drugs including cocaine, cannabis resin, ecstasy and hippy crack during raids at two properties.

Last Thursday 12 Brits were among 14 people held by heavily-armed Civil Guard officers during an operation focused on the party strip of Punta Ballena in Majorca’s party resort of Magaluf which led to the seizure of three kilos of cocaine worth £150,000.

Ten of those arrested were remanded in custody today after appearing before an investigating magistrate in closed court hearings – only trials are held in public in Spanish law.

The latest bust followed an investigation launched several weeks ago after a local discovered a shoebox with more than 10,000 ecstasy pills inside during a country stroll in an area of San Antonio called Ses Paisses.

The five Brits held on Thursday were all in the same house raided by the Civil Guard, who mobilised Majorca-based officers from a specialised organised crime and anti-drugs unit to lead the operation and were supported by a helicopter.

The house is a detached whitewashed single-storey property opposite a petrol station in Ses Paisses.

A party-loving law student Rebecca Brook, 18, had five bags of ecstasy inside her stomach when she was found dead two years ago on holiday in Ibiza – an inquest heard.
